CP ALL Public Company Limited (SET:CPALL) agreed to acquire 27.36% stake in Thai Smart Card Co., Ltd. from True Corporation Public Company Limited (SET:TRUE),Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (SET:KTC), Government Savings Bank, NTT DATA Corporation (TSE:9613), SVOA Public Company Limited (SET:SVOA) and Loxley Public Company Limited (SET:LOXLEY) for approximately THB 790 million on November 13, 2018. Under the terms of the transaction, CP ALL Public Company Limited agreed to acquire 43 million shares of Thai Smart Card Co., Ltd. As of December 31, 2017, Thai Smart Card Co., Ltd reported total asset of THB 2.4 billion, total revenue of THB 311 million and total shareholders' equity of THB 1.5 billion. The transaction was approved by all the shareholders of CP ALL Public Company Limited (SET:CPALL). As of December 12, 2018, Board of Directors of Thai Smart Card Co., Ltd. approved the transaction. Proceeds from the sale will be use for the working capital of the True Corporation Public Company Limited.

The Company also offers a range of financial products covering provincial retail lending business, occupational retail lending business, e-money business, hire purchase and leasing business, as well as holding business. Its credit card business consists of two components: card issuing and merchant acquiring businesses.
