Kurita Water Industries Ltd. revised consolidated earnings guidance for the six months ended September 30, 2021. For the period, the company revises net sales of JPY 135,200 million compared to previous guidance of JPY 128,000 million. Business profit of JPY 14,850 million compared to previous forecast of JPY 14,000 million. Operating profit of JPY 14,700 million compared to previous forecast of JPY 13,500 million. Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 5,700 million or JPY 50.73 per share compared to previous forecast of JPY 8,600 million or JPY 76.55 per share.
For the year ending March 31, 2022, the company revises net sales of JPY 289,000 million compared to previous guidance of JPY 276,000 million. Business profit of JPY 33,000 million compared to previous forecast of JPY 33,000 million. Operating profit of JPY 32,000 million compared to previous forecast of JPY 32,000 million. Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 18,000 million or JPY 160.19 per share compared to previous forecast of JPY 21,100 million or JPY 187.82 per share.
