Lanka Ashok Leyland PLC is a Sri Lanka-based company, which is principally engaged in importing and assembling of semi-knocked-down (SKD) chassis; fabrication of steel and aluminum bodies for trucks; import and marketing of Ashok Leyland range of vehicles, spare parts, power generators and let vehicles on hire. The Company also carries out repairs and restoration of commercial vehicles. It is also engaged in rehabilitation of old and accidental vehicles. It manufactures a range of components for vehicles, which include buses, trucks, and tippers. Its range of special application products include bowser, container, cesspit emptier, freezer truck, concrete mixer, and garbage compactor, which caters to diverse applications. Its power solution business offers solution for power requirement across industrial, marine and agriculture applications. It provides vehicles on hire basis to government sectors.
