For its 2023-24 financial year (ending February), LDC posted sales of almost 6.2 billion euros, up 6% (+3% on a like-for-like basis and at constant exchange rates), for volumes sold that were virtually stable (+0.3% on a reported basis and -0.2% organically).

In line with its commitments, it has relaunched its promotional efforts and continued to cut prices in the poultry division. As a result, sales for the fourth quarter of 2023-24 were up 1.6%, with volumes up 4.6% year-on-year.

The food group confirms its 2023-24 guidance of operating income before non-recurring items in excess of 350 million euros, and maintains all its medium-term objectives set out in its strategic plan.
