Litemax Electronics has announced LCD modules for industrial applications with a Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of 100,000 hours. The technology will be available on all models of Spanpixel and Durapixel. In line with the core competency of Litemax in premium, sunlight readable display technologies, the LCD modules are designed to satisfy the requirements of a diverse range of harsh, demanding environments and vertical markets, such as transportation, factories, marine and gaming, utilizing the latest LED backlight technology.

The LED-backlit displays boast high-end features, such as lower electromagnetic noise and lower power consumption. Also, the successful development of a backlight system with an MTBF of 100,000 hours exceeds typical product longevity requirements for industrial-grade applications with frequent or continuous operation and minimal maintenance. Prior to the upgrade to an MTBF of 100,000 hours, Litemax has been providing an MTBF of 70,000 hours throughout each series.

Models of Spanpixel and Durapixel featured with an MTBF of 100,000 hours are available immediately.
