Russian Minister for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters Evgeniy Zinichev and President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov had a meeting at the XIII International Integrated Safety & Security Exhibition 2021. They signed an Agreement on Cooperation in Ensuring Fire Safety and Protecting Population and Territories against Natural and Technological Emergencies. The parties agreed to cooperate on a range of issues, including interlinking of emergencies monitoring and forecasting systems, joint exercises and trainings on technological emergencies and fires prevention and response at the facilities of LUKOIL and its subsidiaries. LUKOIL's stand at the XIII International Integrated Safety & Security Exhibition 2021 presents cutting-edge technologies of emergencies prevention and response, as well as information on LUKOIL's Corporate Training Centre in the Astrakhan region. The Centre trains personnel of both onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities; over the last ten years, it certificated 62 thousand specialists from LUKOIL as well as other Russian and foreign energy companies.
