Intersection, an out-of-home media and tech firm, has partnered with Lyft Media to manage digital signage screens for advertising on 750 Yellow Cab taxi tops in New York City, according to a press release.

"The yellow cab is an iconic, unmissable beacon in New York City," Chris Grosso, CEO at Intersection, said in the release. "The opportunity to sell taxi top advertising strengthens our media offering citywide and provides a ubiquitous solution for total market coverage."

The advertising screens are planned to be made available programmatically soon.

"Lyft Media is rapidly growing," Zach Greenberger, chief business officer at Lyft, said in the release. "Our suite of digital and out-of-home advertising products connect brands with riders in relevant and tailored ways.

"Intersection is a known leader in the out-of-home media space and we are proud to partner with them as they take over sales of Lyft's digital taxi tops on cabs in New York City. This sets Lyft up to further our customer obsession as we build a partner ecosystem that improves the rider and driver experience."
