Maeda Kosen Co., Ltd. (TSE:7821) agreed to acquire Greensystem Corp. from Hidemamoru Yasukawa and other three individuals on May 20, 2016. As per the terms of the deal, Maeda Kosen will acquire 0.07 million shares of Greensystem Corp. Out of 0.07 million shares acquired, 0.014 million are treasury shares, Hidemamoru Yasukawa owns 0.05 million shares and three other individuals owns 0.01 million shares of Greensystem Corp. For the period ended May 31, 2015, Green System had net assets of ¥563.125 million, total assets of ¥1.2 billion, sales of ¥1.9 billion, operating profit of ¥338.045 million and net income of ¥206.9 million. The Board of Maeda Kosen passed the resolution for the transaction on May 20, 2016. The transaction is expected to close on June 1, 2016.
