Maeil Dairies Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A267980) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 10,000 million worth of its shares according to the contract with NH Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. The purpose of the program is stock price stability and shareholder value enhancement. The program will expire on August 10, 2023.
As of August 10, 2022, the company had 541,507 and no treasury shares holdings acquisition within the range available for dividends and other respectively.
Maeil Dairies Co Ltd is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and distribution of dairy products. The Company operates its business through two segments. The Dairy Processing segment produces and sells products such as municipal milk, milk powder, fermented milk, and milk beverages. It is sold under the names of Maeil Milk, Sangha Farm Organic Milk, Absolut Masterpiece, Organic Palace, and Sensitive. The Other segment produces and supplies food under the names of Celex, Sunup, Calcium Soymilk to Bones, Florida Natural Juice, Sangha Farm Slow Kitchen Curry, and Ferrero. The Company sells its products in domestic and overseas markets such as China.
