John Hancock Life Insurance Company (U.S.A) entered into a letter of intent to acquire Phipps Tower in Atlanta, Georgia from Manulife US Real Estate Investment Trust (SGX:BTOU) on May 24, 2023. The transaction subject the approval of the unitholders of Manulife US REIT, the owner of the Property, and internal approval on behalf of the Buyer and any and all regulatory approvals required for related party transactions. The transaction is subjected to execution of definitive agreements and the completion of due diligence investigation.
