MCB Finance : Unaudited Results for the Period Ending 30 September 2014

MCB Finance Group plc (AIM: MCRB.L) ("MCB", the "Group" or the "Company"), which provides consumer finance solutions to retail customers in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Australia, today announces its unaudited results for the three month and nine month periods ending 30 September 2014.

Financial Highlights

• Consolidated Loan Principal Issued increased by 5.8% to €25.2m in Q3 2014 compared to the previous quarter (Q2 2014: €23.8m), and by 8.6% compared to the prior year period (Q3 2013: €23.2m);
• Consolidated Revenue grew by 5.5% to €9.5m in Q3 2014 (Q2 2014: €9.0m) and by 14.7% over the prior year period (Q3 2013: €8.3m);
• Consolidated Impairment Costs were 19.1% of Revenue for Q3 2014 (Q2 2014: 19.5%; Q3 2013: 26.4%), reflecting continued strong credit and collection performance;
• Operating Profit for the Established Markets Business was €3.0m for Q3 2014, an increase of 22.4% on the previous quarter (Q2 2014: €2.4m) and an increase of 44.7% on the prior year period (Q3 2013: €2.0m);
• Pro Forma Profit Before Tax (before unrealised foreign exchange gains on borrowings, translation differences and other non-cash items) for the Established Markets Business was €1.3m for Q3 2014 (Q2 2014: €0.7m; Q3 2013: €0.2m), after deducting Financing Costs of €1.7m (Q2 2014: €1.8m; Q3 2013: €1.8m);
• Group Pro Forma Profit After Tax for Q3 2014 was €0.7m (Q2 2014: €0.2m; Q3 2013: Loss of €0.9m). Operating losses from New Businesses were €0.3m (Q2 2014: €0.4m loss; Q3 2013: €0.9m loss) and;
• Group Net Income for Q3 2014 was €0.6m (Q2 2014: €1.2m; Q3 2013: Loss of €1.5m) after net unrealised foreign exchange losses of €0.1m.
