MedPeer,Inc. (TSE:6095) announced a private placement of 3,063 series 13 warrants at the price of ¥3,550 per warrants for proceeds of ¥10,873,650, 2,771 series 14 warrants at the price of ¥930 per warrants for proceeds of ¥2,577,030, and series 15 warrants at the price of ¥120 per warrants for gross proceeds of ¥273,720 for total gross proceeds of ¥13,724,400 on February 13, 2019. The exercise price of series 13 warrants, series 14 warrants, and series 15 warrants are ¥1,959, ¥2,527, and ¥3,069 respectively. The transaction included participation from existing investor UBS AG London branch, Investment Arm. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of the company. The transaction is expected to close from March 8, 2019 to March 11, 2019. The transaction expenses after exercise of warrants would be ¥6,500,000.
MedPeer, Inc. provides social service MedPeer to doctors. The Company mainly operates two business segments. The Doctor Platform business operates the MedPeer site, which is a knowledge management tool that shares raw information from physicians at medical clinics, and a place where all the doctors nationwide gather together is established on the Internet. The Healthcare Solutions business utilizes expert networks such as doctors and administrative nutritionists to develop services targeting health promotion and prevention areas.
