Austin Legacy Education Sdn. Bhd. entered into an agreement to acquire Asiamet (M) Sdn.
Bhd. from Cyberjaya Education Group Berhad (KLSE:MINDA) for MYR 15 million on July 21, 2023. The net proceeds arising from the disposal are expected to be utilised for the working capital and/or for investment.
The transaction is expected to close in Q1 2024, and is subject to regulatory approval of the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia.
