The Board of Directors of Modelon AB (publ) “Modelon” has appointed Jan Häglund CEO effective 1 July 2024. Current CEO Magnus Gäfvert will continue in his current role through 1 July 2024 and will remain at the company’s disposal during a transition period thereafter. Jan Häglund comes most recently from the CEO role at software company Enea AB (publ) and brings to Modelon highly relevant management experience in international B2B software sales and technology development.

Over the past few years, Modelon has launched the unique cloud based Modelon Impact platform to existing and new clients globally. Offered as a SaaS product Modelon Impact has proved successful with top tier industries around the world used to save time and costs in both R&D and later product life cycle phases. Modelon is now entering a new phase with continued growth and the board sees Jan Häglund as a strong leader steering the company forward.

Besides Enea Jan has a highly relevant background as vice president in several roles at Ericsson AB (publ) where he managed both commercial, technology and software teams at an executive level in USA, Europe and Asia,” comments Christer Ljungberg.

Jan Häglund has studied at Columbia Business School and KTH Royal Institute of Technology where he has a PhD degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics as well as a Master DEA, from Ecole Nationale de Physique de Grenoble.
