Draper Esprit : invests in £78m Seedcamp V

Draper Esprit is pleased to be backing leading European seed venture capital firm, Seedcamp with their fifth and biggest fund yet. The £78m fund will be used to invest in pre-seed and seed-stage companies. Seedcamp's already superb investment track record includes European tech champions like Transferwise, Revolut, UiPath and recently announced unicorn Hopin.

Draper Esprit has previously invested in Seedcamp Fund IV, and in October 2017 acquired Seedcamp's Funds I and II. As a result, Draper Esprit were able to acquire stakes in high profile growing technology companies such as leading UK based Fintech business, Transferwise.

It has been a pleasure to work alongside Reshma Sohoni and Carlos Espinal as they continue to build Seedcamp. Draper Esprit looks forward to continuing working alongside Seedcamp as part of our Fund of Funds strategy which offers long term patient capital solutions for European tech companies and their investors.
