MongoDB, Inc. Appoints Francisco D'Souza to the Board of Directors

MongoDB, Inc. announced it has appointed Francisco (Frank) D'Souza to the company's Board of Directors. D'Souza is a veteran entrepreneur and tech executive who co-founded Cognizant, one of the world's leading professional services companies, and was its Chief Executive Officer for more than a decade. Currently, D'Souza is Vice Chairman of Cognizant's Board of Directors. D'Souza also serves on the Board of Directors of General Electric Company, on the Board of Trustees of Carnegie Mellon University and as Co-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the New York Hall of Science. He is a member of the World Economic Forum and serves as the 2019 Chairman of its IT and Electronics Governors community.
MongoDB, Inc. specializes in developing and operating a development database platform. The group offers the intuitive and scalable MongoDB multi-cloud platform, enabling developers to create, modernize, deploy and manage applications in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Edge computing, Internet of Things, mobile applications and payment technology. Net sales break down by source of income as follows:
- subscription sales (96.2%);
- service sales (3.8%).
At the end of January 2023, the group had more than 40,800 customers.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Americas (60.9%), Europe-Middle East-Africa (28.2%) and Asia-Pacific (10.9%).
