MPower Group Limited reached an agreement with the Murray River Council over land to develop a new solar/battery energy project in the Riverina region of NSW. Along with the ongoing expansion of MPower's development footprint across Australia's eastern seaboard, the agreement also reflects the Company's strong reputation as a partner of choice for clean energy power projects. MPower's latest project is located in the Moulamein district of the Murray River Council region of southern NSW.

The location was strategically targeted as a unique clean energy development opportunity on Council-owned land that is not currently in use. Under the terms of the option to lease agreement, MPower will develop and build a solar power and battery storage project at the site, which will operate as a power source to support the expansion of regional activities with up to 20GWh of energy per annum. Once constructed the Moulamein solar/battery energy project is expected to operate as a long- term power source in the region with an estimated useful life of 30+ years.
