Programs like the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative have shown that the Northeast is capable of achieving substantial emission reductions when we come together for a common purpose.'
Khan continued, 'The revenue generated under the program provides a tremendous opportunity to advance investment in clean transportation in the region, benefitting both our economy and environment. We applaud state leaders' commitment to equity by committing to invest 35% of the resulting revenue in disadvantaged communities.'
