NORWICH, NY (May 20, 2021) - NBT Bank has been named one of Central New York's Best Places to Work for a second year in a row.
Best Places to Work is a program from the Central New York Business Journal (CNYBJ) that recognizes and celebrates the region's leading employers based on employee surveys.
'Our inclusion on this list is so meaningful to us because we work hard on cultivating a healthy and positive corporate culture,' said Chief Human Resources & Ethics Officer Catherine Scarlett. 'I cannot stress enough how much we value our employees-they truly are the critical component to NBT's continued success.'
Earlier this year, NBT employees across 10 counties (Broome, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, St. Lawrence and Tioga) were asked to complete a confidential survey for the annual event. Their positive responses secured NBT's position as one of 10 companies that will be recognized in the 100+ Employees category.
