NCC has been contracted by state-owned property company Senatfastigheter to refurbish the District Court in the Tikkurila district of Vantaa in Finland. The assignment is a partnering contract with an order value of approximately SEK 460 million. NCC has been contracted to refurbish the existing court building, construct an extension and demolish the existing police station on the site.

The project will take the form of a partnering contract between NCC and Senatfastigheter. The property currently houses the District Court of Eastern Uusimaa, a Guardianship Office, a Legal Aid Office, a Public Prosecutor?s Office and the Enforcement Authority. The new extension will contain offices and a customer service reception.

The courtrooms will be upgraded and equipped with new technologies and systems for digital court processes. The contract is worth about SEK 460 million and the order will be registered in the NCC Building Nordics business area in the second quarter of 2024.
