NexPoint Residential Trust, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 67.87 million compared to USD 66.5 million a year ago. Revenue was USD 69.84 million compared to USD 68.05 million a year ago. Net income was USD 33.75 million compared to net loss of USD 0.597 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.31 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.02 a year ago. The Company may allocate up to 30% of the portfolio to investments in real estate-related debt and securities with the potential for high current income or total returns.
