NIPPON PARKING DEVELOPMENT Co.,Ltd. (TSE:2353) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 4,000,000 shares, representing 1.23% of its share capital, for ¥500 million. The company will repurchase its shares in order to return profits to shareholders, improve capital efficiency, and implement agile capital policies in response to changes in the business environment.
The share repurchase program will run until April 21, 2022. As of March 4, 2022, the company has 326,455,135 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 21,943,465 shares in treasury.
NIPPON PARKING DEVELOPMENT Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the parking lot business, the ski resort business and the theme park business. The Company operates through three business segments. The Parking Lots segment is engaged in the operation, management, consulting and leasing of parking lots, as well as the provision of car sharing, camper rental, parking lot information search services. The Ski Resorts segment is engaged in the acquisition, operation and consulting of ski resorts and amusement parks, as well as the provision of employment services. The Theme Parks segment is engaged in the acquisition, operation, consulting, sale and rental of theme parks, villas and lodging facilities, as well as the provision of employment services.
