Nippon Soda Co., Ltd. provides earnings guidance for the half year and full year of fiscal ending March 2022. For the first half ending Sep. 2021, The company expects net sales to be JPY 62,000 million, Operating profit to be JPY 2,400 million, Profit attributable to owners of parent to be JPY 2,400 million or JPY 85.04 per basic share.
For the full year, The company expects net sales to be JPY 143,000 million, Operating profit to be JPY 9,000 million, Profit attributable to owners of parent to be JPY 7,600 million or JPY 3.2 per basic share.
Nippon Soda Co., Ltd. is primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of chemical products. The Chemical segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of industrial chemicals, synthetic chemicals, dye products, functional materials, eco-care products, pharmaceuticals and medical intermediates, among others. The Agricultural Chemical segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of fungicides, insecticides, miticides, herbicides and industrial fungicides. The Business Firms segment offers chemicals, synthetic resins, industrial machineries and devices, among others. The Transportation and Warehouse segment is engaged in the provision of warehouse and transportation services. The Construction segment is involved in the plant construction and civil engineering businesses. The Others segment is involved in the casting, processing and sale of alloy, the treatment of industrial wastes, the leasing of lands and equipment, the manufacture and sale of molded synthetic resin, among others.
