The Company's primary focus is to acquire and develop companies with active or near production high quality coal reserves, in the United States Appalachia coal region. The Company has two major assets - the Rosa mine and Rex No.1 mine. The Rosa Mine (Rosa) is located in Blount County, Alabama. Rosa produces a coal for the metallurgical and activated carbon coal markets. The Rex No.1 (Rex No.1) Mine is located in Campbell County, Tennessee. It produces a high quality coal for the metallurgical, silicon metal and industrial stoker coal markets. The Company's subsidiaries include MCoal Corporation , Tiacme, LLC , MCC Kentucky, LLC (MCCK) and MCC Alabama, LLC. MCoal Corporation (MCoal), a subsidiary company that produces metallurgical coal at its mine in Blount County in the State of Alabama, USA.
