Notice Concerning a Fire at the Company's Nakai Plant (Apology) (First Report)

Around 9:30 a.m. on October 25, 2021 (Monday), a fire broke out in the Company's Nakai Plant.

We sincerely apologize for this accident and the great trouble and anxiety that it is causing to neighborhood residents and other concerned parties.

The known facts as of 12:30 p.m. today on October 25, 2021 (Monday) are as follows:

1. Fire site

Okamura Corporation Nakai Plant

390 Sakai, Nakai-machi,Ashigarakami-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture

2. Date/time and circumstances of the fire

Around 9:30 a.m. on October 25 (Monday)	A fire broke out from the painting line for steel furniture and
	fixtures, shelf boards, etc., inside Nakai Plant.
As at 12:30 p.m. on October 25 (Monday)	Firefighting activities by the public fire department are underway.

3. Damage

All employees who were inside the plant have been evacuated, and there were no injuries. An investigation of the facilities and equipment is currently underway.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. The Company will implement appropriate countermeasures under the instructions of the public authorities concerned.
