Perak Corporation Berhad announced the appointment of Encik Rosmin Bin Mohamed as Group Chief Executive Officer of the company. Age 52. Date of change is January 9, 2022.

Working experience and occupation: Encik Rosmin has spent over 30 years working in high-profile organizations specializing in project development & management, regional development, marketing & sales, operations optimization and customer satisfaction improvement. He joined Sime Darby Property Malaysia Berhad in June 2018 as the Senior Vice President for Malaysia Vision Valley (MVV) project. MVV is a new economic growth area that has been identified as one of the nation's 17 Promoted Development Zones.

It has been earmarked as the extension to the Greater Kuala Lumpur conurbation. In November 2020, he was given a new role and responsibility to lead the Special Economic Zone Division in Sime Darby Property Berhad, with projects in Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Prior to that, he was the Senior Director of Development Division at Northern Corridor Implementation Authority ("NCIA") responsible for the positioning, strategic planning and delivery of NCIA's Physical and Economic Development, together with its Marketing and Investor Relations initiatives, delivering thought leadership and providing investor support services as part of NCIA's mandate to spearhead the socio-economic development of the Northern Corridor Economic Region; a government initiative to accelerate economic growth and elevate income levels of Peninsular Malaysia's northern population encompassing the states of Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Perak.
