PGE contracted at least 1,013 MW in available capacities for 2028 in the concluded capacity market auction, the company said in a market filing. At least 1.013 MW of capacity obligations have been contracted, including 306 MW in 7-year contracts, 15 MW in 5-year contracts and 692 MW in annual contracts. The total volume of power contracts contracted for the 2028 delivery year, including multi-year agreements from previous auctions, is at least 9.851 MW.

Poland completed the capacity market auction in the sixth round, grid operator PSE said earlier on Thursday. According to a filing from PGE, the closing price at the auction settled in the range PLN 226.36-264.05 (EUR 52.58-61.34) per kW per year. PGE said it would announce the closing price within three working days following the auction completion.
