PI Industries Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 18,975 million compared to INR 16,132 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 19,536 million compared to INR 16,634 million a year ago. Net income was INR 4,486 million compared to INR 3,518 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 29.59 compared to INR 23.2 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 29.58 compared to INR 23.2 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 59,248 million compared to INR 49,264 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 60,746 million compared to INR 50,359 million a year ago. Net income was INR 13,120 million compared to INR 9,490 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 86.49 compared to INR 62.57 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 86.48 compared to INR 62.55 a year ago.

The Agro chemicals segment includes Agchem exports (CSM) and Domestic Agri Brands. The Pharma segment comprises contract research and development, contract development and manufacturing of active. It also includes materials and intermediates used in the pharmaceutical industry. The Company offers services, such as research and development services, CSM services, distribution services. The research and development services comprise target, discovery, molecule design, library synthesis, lead optimization, biological evaluation and route synthesis. It also provides Shield (fungicide) and Londax Power (rice herbicide) products. It offers services in areas, such as contract research, process development, analytical method development, process safety data generation and detailed process engineering.
