Piraeus Bank Group, a Greek financial services company, has deployed more than 300 of Diebold Nixdorf's cash recycling DN SeriesTM ATMs. With these ATMs, which are made of recycled and recyclable materials, the bank will be able to reduce both power consumption and carbon emissions, according to a press release.

The ATMs are powered by DN AllConnectSM Data Engine, which offers real-time device data with cloud computing and machine learning to remotely identify causes and fixes for repair issues. The ATMs are also 25% lighter than traditional ATMs and use LED technology that provide 50% power savings.

"The new technology provided by Diebold Nixdorf's DN Series supports our ambitions to deliver financial services at the highest level to our customers in every channel and every touch point," Harry Margaritis, CIO, Piraeus Bank, said in the release. "Piraeus Bank is committed to actively support economic activity and extroversion through specialized solutions and superior banking experience to its stakeholders and to become a next-generation financial institution."
