Platz Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2021. For the period, the company reported Net sales of JPY 7,040 million compared to JPY 6,098 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 724 million compared to JPY 559 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 305 million compared to JPY 507 million a year ago. Comprehensive income was JPY 360 million compared to JPY 492 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 84.02 compared to JPY 136.32 a year ago.
PLATZ Co.,Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in electric bed business for medical and nursing care. The Company operates through two business segments. Medical Care Nursing Electric Bed segment is engaged in the planning, development, design and sale of medical care nursing electric beds and mattresses, the assemblies and quality inspections, the metal processing of steel frames and other parts. Products are divided into home beds and medical facilities beds, and are sold to welfare equipment distribution market, medical and elderly facility market, furniture distribution market and overseas markets. Products for welfare equipment distribution market include Rafio, Miolet III and Primolet. Products for medical and elderly care facilities market include P300Series, Ardel and Ultilet. Products for furniture distribution market include Carelet f II, Carelet neoα II, Carelet Druche, and Carelet Simply. Fitness segment operates a women-only fitness gym called Placer.
