Positivo Tecnologia is elected member of the DMTF Board of Directors, one of the world's most important technology forums

The Brazilian technology company is the first in the Country to join the select Council of the American organization. Positivo will occupy one of nine slots, together with the current eight multinationals Cisco, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Intel, NetApp, Broadcom and Verizon.

Curitiba, June 16, 2021 - Positivo Tecnologia was elected to integrate the Board of the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF), a non-profit institute that establishes open standards for management and industrialization in the information technology (IT) sector. Positivo is the first Brazilian company to be a member of the DMTF Board and assumes responsibility alongside the eight technology multinationals: Cisco, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Intel, NetApp, Broadcom and Verizon.

Headquartered in Portland (USA), the DMTF is led by a group of professionals from large technology multinationals. Besides the DMTF Board Members, other Brazilian and foreign companies comprise the Institute in categories called "Leadership" and "Participation". The companies on the Board and in the "Leadership" category are the ones that votes to choose new members. All the companies included in the DMTF collaborate to improve IT practices by exchanging experiences in developing and manufacturing solutions such as cloud computing, virtualization, networking, servers, and storage.

Positivo Tecnologia will be represented on the DMTF Board by the Company's executives, who will meet monthly with leaders from other companies to jointly establish its direction and strategy, as well as the standards offered by the Institute to the market.
