TRUSTING RELATIONSHIPS

WITH WOMEN AND MEN

OF THE GROUP

Conditions at work and for the development of Poujoulat Group's 1,500 employees is an extremely important social challenge. We are devoted to nurturing enriching relationships with the women and men we work with. Our ambition is, as such, to continually improve health and safety at work, to promote wellness, skills, know-how and expertise in the workplace, for the lifespan of our employees' careers.

COMMITMENT N°1 Improve workplace safety

and develop workplace wellness

OUR ACTION

FOR IMPROVING SAFETY

is to reduce

the severity rate index*

In order to reduce the number of work-related accidents, we have created a safety department whose missions are to: disseminate prevention culture, analyse risks and action plans, analyse and monitor work-related accidents, participate in safety training along with HR, make protective equipment available, carry out technology watch, etc.

  • The severity rate corresponds to the number of days com- pensated per 1,000 hours worked, i.e. number of days lost by temporary disability per 1,000 hours worked.

actions for re-organizing work stations. Also, since June 2019, an osteopath comes on-site once a month, as such, providing easier access to healthcare and helping reduce pain (whether professional activity-related or not).

Emphasis was placed on certification and/or diploma trai- ning, in line with the major developments of the Group's missions and its future needs: training in safety prevention, people management, sales techniques and customer relationship management, languages, and business-specifictechniques.

The aim of the production training school is to maintain skills in the workplace given the employee turnover backdrop due to the age pyramid. This process, launched in 2018, pursues its goals and is taking solid shape. 9 in- house trainers have been supported by the CCI. Since the start of 2020, 52 employees have benefitted from 1,367 hours of training within this framework.

COMMITMENT N°3 Tackle discrimination and promote diversity

OUR ACTION

FROM 2020

In Poujoulat Group, we are convinced that diversity is a key factor for social cohesion and a catalyst for economic performance vis-à-vis our customers.

In 2020, and within its scope, Poujoulat Group will monitor actions for tackling discrimination and for promoting diversity, as well as information related to collective agreements.

OUR ACTION TO ADAPT

TO THE COVID19 CONTEXT

A crisis unit was set up at the end of February to adapt to government imperatives. All the health measures were implemented so business could resume. Every member of staff participated in a special safety scheme. Meeting points and audits are regularly organized to ensure health measures and imperatives are strictly respected.

RESPONSIBLE RELATIONSHIPS

WITH CUSTOMERS

AND PARTNERS

Poujoulat Group nurtures responsible relationships with suppliers, consumers and the general public on a daily basis. The aim is to strengthen trust in the brand and to better accompany partners and users by focusing on 3 societal challenges: responsible procurement, inclusion of the consumer by all Group players, and boosting values through sports sponsoring and cultural and humanitarian patronage.

Poujoulat Group supports a host of sports, cultural and humanitarian projects. Every year, it invests 0.12% of Group revenuein these

actions. 2/3 of this budget is devoted to "team voile" (yachting) and 1/3 to local teams and to promising young sportspeople,finan-

cial aid for restoring monuments, for youth integration, for promoting know-how, etc.

Although Poujoulat Group focuses mainly on professional customers, we have also chosen to develop an integrated support department which places the consumer at the heart of the business: accompanying private individuals who wish to obtain useful information and sound advice to optimize their heating installation; discussing their wishes and needs so as to build a sustainable relationship and "consume better".

In addition to the consumer service, we have also implemented: a mail customer service contact, online chat, a store locator, satisfaction surveys and indicators for installers and consumers, a Talk with Poujoulat / Woodstock Bois Facebook page, etc.

09

COMMITMENT N°3 Develop responsible procurement including wood provisioning

OUR ACTION TO WORK IN A RELATIONSHIP OF TRUST

WITH OUR SUPPLIERS

126Km

This is the weighted average radius for forest product provisioning in 2020

Implementing responsible procurement expresses our determination to extend the responsible approach to the provisioning chain. Privileging local resources prior to transformation is a key driverfor rolling out a sustainable development approach. Our average provisioning radius shows that our products are "made in France" and come from local forests, as such, reducing truck transportation distances as much as possible.

The Positive RelationshipsPROJECT

The environmental pillar

SUSTAINABLE RELATIONSHIPS

WITH OUR REGIONS

Poujoulat Group has initiated a proactive environmental conservation approach. As part of the business's environmental responsibility, 3 challenges have been identified: reduce the waste-related environmental impact, improve energy performance, and reduce the carbon footprint. To date, five production sites, including the head office, have been issued ISO 14001 environmental certification. The Group is also committed as an energy user by privileging renewable energy sources (biomass for heating the main industrial sites) and by reducing its electricity consumption by using energy-saving systems (lighting, machines-tools, etc.)

COMMITMENT N°1 Reduce the waste-related environmental impact

OUR ACTION

FOR REDUCING WASTE

10 93%

of waste recycled

in 2019/2020

by the Group's 14 sites

Our environment department is ramping up its waste management missions and actions: QSE department (Quality Safety Environment) present on 5 manufacturing sites, operational managers, trainers for delivering training.

The new overall waste management contract

includes a communication plan for employees for sorting waste, hand-in-hand with local reinsertion firms… In order to reduce waste, Poujoulat SA set up 2 working groups in 2018 to reduce raw material scrap.

The Positive Relationships PROJECT

COMMITMENT N°2 Improve energy performance

OUR ACTION FOR REDUCING ENERGY

CONSUMPTION

8.2kWh/h

worked

for FY 2019/2020

Poujoulat Group has invested heavily to reduce

energy consumption: variable-speed compressors (Poujoulat SA 2014), variable-speed drives for the paint lines processes (Poujoulat 2016), gas furnaces replaced by condensation models (Westaflex 2017), etc. A mul- ti-year replacement plan for all LED-technology ligh-

ting was initiated for all worksites in 2019, along with11 energy-saving awareness for all employees.

COMMITMENT N°3 Reduce the carbon footprint

16.3 g

OUR ACTION FOR REDUCING

GREENHOUSE GASES

EquivalentCO2/kWh

emitted in 2019/2020

In terms of electricity, Poujoulat Group benefits from a power supply contract in France which is extremely efficient with regard to climate impact. According to a PWC study, published on 10 February last, the average CO2 content of leading European electricity producers stands at 296 g of equivalent CO2 / kWh.

Poujoulat Group is a key player in developing

renewable energies: full-carbon-accounting

for the Niort site (Scope 3) performed on a yearly basis, innovative facilities privileging renewable energy sources (Biomass heating plant for the Niort site, wood drying at BOIS FACTORY in Indre in France, wood-fired heating plant at the Beirens facility, etc.), 2 working groups set up at Poujoulat SA to reduce the amount of production material scrap to reduce, in turn, indirect greenhouse gas emissions, etc.

DIGITALIZATION

  1. CROSS-CUTTINGIMPROVEMENT AREA

Digitalizing Poujoulat Group's activities is a formidable technological and human challenge for greater efficiency on a daily basis. Digitalization cuts across all fields. It will enable us to strengthen our relationships with our professional customers and consumers by proposing more services and better performing After-Sales. It will also promote the development of e-commerce which will empower our networks. In-house and external digitalization also means taking new "web 2.0" practices into account which impact organizational models directly.
