Powercom Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 259.379 million compared to TWD 265.072 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 66.345 million compared to TWD 2.567 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.33 compared to TWD 0.01 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 549.902 million compared to TWD 493.786 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 66.076 million compared to net loss of TWD 5.134 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.33 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.04 a year ago.
POWERCOM CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of uninterruptible power systems (UPSs) and solar modules products. The Companyâs primary products include the off-line UPSs, line-interactive UPSs, on-line UPSs, solar power generation modules and photovoltaic (PV) inverters. Its products are mainly used in computers, communication products, medical equipment and solar power generation systems. The Company is also involved in the design and construction of solar power generation plants and the provision of related maintenance services.
