Gazprom Neft was also among the top-10 most popular companies for business students, and one of the top-20 for IT specialists, as well as holding a leading position among Russian oil companies involved in the Universum rankings. Students cited the company's business efficiency and market success, as well as a modern corporate environment for young specialists in terms of career development and professional growth, as some of the key advantages of working at Gazprom Neft. About 1,000 Russian university students undergo practical training and internships at Gazprom Neft every year, with one in three of these going on to work at the company after graduation.

Jobseekers on the HeadHunter portal have ranked Gazprom Neft Russia's best employer for the last two years in a row, with the company also being the only representative in its industry ranked among the top-10 most attractive employers for graduates and post-graduates in a Russia-wide survey by FutureToday, covering 46 of the country's leading universities.

'Gazprom Neft is implementing a large number of programmes and projects on working with talented young professionals. We are developing partnerships with the country's leading universities to attract talented graduates to the company, and organising secondments and developing specialist programmes for training and developing high-potential young specialists - to which end the company has launched its generic 'League of Universities' and 'On Your Marks!' programmes, along with many others. In addition to the traditional oil-industry professions - engineering and geology -we have more and more young programmers, data scientists and developers on our team. In joining us, IT specialists can get invaluable experience in working on projects involving AI, unmanned transportation, robotics and other end-to-end technologies. They get the chance to get involved in developing the energy of the future, and see their ideas- from mobile apps for drivers to blockchain aviation refuelling - embodied in products and services used by millions.'
