WALTHAM, Mass. (AP) _ Repligen Corp. (RGEN) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $19.7 million.

On a per-share basis, the Waltham, Massachusetts-based company said it had profit of 36 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 52 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 31 cents per share.

The drug developer posted revenue of $108.6 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $93.9 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $59.9 million, or $1.11 per share. Revenue was reported as $366.3 million.

Repligen expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.86 to $1.94 per share, with revenue in the range of $500 million to $525 million.

Repligen shares have climbed almost 8% since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
