Rottneros : announces price hike for SW BCTMP in South East Asia

Rottneros announces price hike of 75 USD/ton for all new SW BCTMP orders for South East Asian destinations effective from 10th of February 2021.

The increase reflects that the overall pulp and SW BCTMP markets are in better balance today, following strong demand from the paper board and other paper segments as well as reduced inventories.

Rottneros is a supplier of fibre for selected niche and speciality paper and board applications. Rottneros offers a wide selection of High Yield and Kraft Pulp (bleached and unbleached) made from sustainably managed Nordic soft wood forests.

Rottneros AB is a Sweden-based producer and supplier of customized pulp. The Company produces paper pulp at two pulp mills: the Vallvik Mill and the Rottneros Mill. The Vallvik Mill produces two grades of long-fiber sulphate pulp: fully bleached sulphate pulp (ECF - Elemental Chlorine Free) and unbleached sulphate pulp (UKP - Unbleached Kraft Pulp). The Rottneros Mill manufactures mechanical pulp (CTMP) and groundwood pulp. Additionally, the Company produces food packaging. The Company's pulp mainly used for personal care products, filters, board containers, print materials, insulation applications, among others. The Company is active primarily in Germany, Italy, Sweden and the United States, among others.
