SberCloud, a supplier of cloud services which forms part of the Sber ecosystem, has created a Data Science Works (DS Works) platform for resolving applied business tasks in the field of Machine Learning and for holding championships amongst data scientists. This was announced by David Rafalovsky, CTO and Global Head of Operation and Technology of SberBank Group, Executive Vice President at SberBank, during the international conference AI Journey 2021.

DS Works is needed by companies which, for example, have no or not enough data scientists but need to resolve ML tasks. A company can launch a competition on the DS Works platform to get a solution produced by top specialists in the field of machine learning.

The platform is designed for organizing Data Science competitions with the opportunity for model training and inference on high-productivity infrastructure.

In the very near future, training programs will be added to the platform to promote the educational component of the project. These will be designed both independently and jointly with third-party experts.

David Rafalovsky, CTO and Global Head of Operation and Technology of SberBank Group, Executive Vice President at SberBank:

"If a company does not have its own data scientists but needs to resolve a complex ML task, you can quickly find talent to help you solve your problem. For this, you need to launch a competition on the DW Works platform. We have also provided the opportunity for communication and sharing of experience between competition entrants, and for developers to monetize their expertise by placing their models on the ML Space platform marketplaces - DataHub and AI Services".

Applications for organizing a championship can be submitted to the website.
