Shanghai Shenda Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2021. For the half year, the company announced sales was CNY 5,478.064 million compared to CNY 4,862.843 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 328.115 million compared to operating loss of CNY 130.108 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 223.513 million compared to net loss of CNY 111.903 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.2623 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of CNY 0.1313 a year ago.
Shanghai Shenda Co Ltd is a China-based company mainly engaged in import and export trade, research, development and manufacturing of industrial textiles. The Company primarily conducts its business through three segments. The Trade Services segment is mainly engaged in import and export trade, mainly including textiles, home textiles and other import and export businesses. The Manufacturing Business segment is mainly engaged in the business of automotive interior and acoustic components, mainly including the manufacture of floor system products, acoustic component products, soft decoration products and other interior parts. The Headquarters and Properties segment is mainly engaged in the business of new textile materials, mainly including the development and research of flexible composite material products. Its main products include biogas membrane structures, architectural membrane structures, waterproof membranes, oil-proof barriers, inflatable materials and others.
