Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA reached an agreement to acquire remaining 35% stake in Voith Hydro Inc. from Siemens Aktiengesellschaft (XTRA:SIE) on October 21, 2021. The transaction is subject to antitrust and other approvals.
As of January 28, 2022, the European Commission has approved the transaction. The transaction is expected to close near the end of Q1 2022.
