Singtex Industrial Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 552.39 million compared to TWD 835.41 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 52.54 million compared to net income of TWD 45.79 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.87 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.89 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.87 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.72 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 1,266.6 million compared to TWD 1,744.52 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 48.69 million compared to net income of TWD 96.07 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.81 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.95 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.81 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.61 a year ago.
Singtex Industrial Co. Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the processing, distribution, import and export of fibers, yarns, functional fabric products and ready-made clothes, raw materials, semi-finished products and others. The Companyâs fabric products consist of windproof, waterproof and breathable series, high-density water pressure resistance series, quick moisture absorption and release series, two-layer and three-layer functional fabric series, three-dimensional (3D) functional fabric series, PUSH and PULL series, special functional fabric series, and ready-made clothes. The Company distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets.
