ACTIVITY

Total traffic handled by Marsa Maroc Group at September 30th, 2023 reached 41.5 million tons (MT), up 9.5 % on the same period in 2022.

This level of activity results from the evolution of the following main elements :

• Containerized traffic reached a volume of 1,864 thousand Twenty- Foot Equivalent Units (TEU), up by a strong 21.4 % compared with the end of September 2022:
• • Transshipment container traffic continued its sustained growth at +33.3 % compared with end-September 2022, and amounted to 1,059 thousand TEUs ;
  • Domestic traffic confirmed its robustness with an increase of +8.9 % during the first 9 months of the year, and stood at 805 thousand TEUs at the end of September 2023.
• Bulk and cargo traffic reached the same level as at the end of September 2022, i.e. 21.7 million tons : dry bulk traffic increased by 8 % to 12.8 million tons, while liquid bulk traffic fell by 8.5 % to 7.2 million tons. General cargo traffic reached 1.6 MT.

Consolidated revenues amounted to MAD 3,230 million, up by a significant 8.9 % compared with revenues to end-September 2022.

INVESTMENT

Consolidated investments committed by the Group to the end of September 2023 amounted to MAD 203 million, and concerned the acquisition of equipment.

DEBT

The Group's net debt at the end of September 2023 stands at MAD 500 million. This debt is made up of MAD 2,303 million in financing debt and MAD 1,803 million in cash(1).
