SOFT99corporation (TSE:4464) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 80,000 shares, representing 0.37% of its issued share capital for ?140 million. The purpose of the program is to implement shareholder returns in line with the 6th Medium -Term Management Plan. The program is valid till February 28, 2022. As of September 30, 2021, the company had 21,833,012 shares issued (excluding treasury stock) and 441,676 shares in treasury.
SOFT99corporation is mainly engaged in fine chemical business. The Company operates in four business segments. The Fine Chemicals segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of chemical products for automobiles, including car wash products, such as car wax and others, automotive repair and maintenance products, as well as household and other products. The Porous Materials segment manufactures and sells chemical products made from porous materials, including polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), urethane and others, for industrial materials and household products. The Service segment is engaged in the provision of driving training services, automobile maintenance, the automobile metal plating business, as well as the planning and sale of household products. The Real Estate segment is engaged in the leasing of real estate, and the operation of bathhouses and care prevention support business.
