(Alliance News) - TraWell Co Spa announced Wednesday that it has renewed its partnership with Olbia Airport for the 2023 summer season.

Olbia Airport is the island's second busiest airport and the main gateway to northeastern Sardinia. It is the best choice for the Emerald Coast, the island of La Maddalena, and the Gulf of Orosei. It is only 4 km from the center of Olbia, 30 km from Porto Cervo and 60 km from Santa Teresa di Gallura.

During the concession period, the airport's offerings include 3.7 million seats for sale on 73 destinations. On the other hand, there are 16 new network additions compared to 2022: Barcelona, Bilbao, Florence, Lille, Madrid, Marseille, Nice, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Toulouse, and Valencia; Birmingham, Athens, and Dublin will also be inaugurated.

"Sardinia is a major international attraction during the summer period," said Rudolph Gentile, president of TraWell Co. "Very interesting will be the opening of the new routes, which will allow the demand for baggage protection services to grow. The group has a strong presence on the island, also thanks to the travel services offered by its subsidiary SosTravel.com Spa through the portal www.amareItalia.com."

TraWell's stock is down 1.7 percent at EUR6.92 per share.
