Southern Cross Electrical Engineering's recently acquired Sydney-based subsidiary, Heyday5, has been awarded more than $50 million of new contracts to carry out electrical services work on a number of major development projects. The SCEE subsidiary will be involved in three redevelopment projects in Sydney: the provision of 93,000 square metres of office space in the ATP Redfern building 1; work on the W Hotel in Darling Harbour under the Ribbon project; and luxury residential tower, the Greenland Centre. Further afield, Heyday5 will also be involved in the Midnight project, Canberra's first high-density development located along the city's new light rail route.
