It's been a year like no other, and it's set to end with a Hogmanay celebration like no other.

The Daily Record Pride of Scotland Awards, in partnership with TSB, which will air on STV and STV Player, will honour Scotland's unsung heroes of 2020, in a TV spectacular featuring an array of famous faces, from royalty to rock stars, actors and sporting icons.

Packed with uplifting stories of Scots who have made us all proud in this unprecedented year, and incredible celebrity surprises, the show also features exclusive musical performances, and a very special collaboration led by Sir Billy Connolly, to ring in 2021.

Much like sister show the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards - which has been running annually since 2000 - the Pride of Scotland Awards will celebrate ordinary people doing extraordinary things, and honour unsung Scottish heroes who have transformed the lives of people around them.

The 90-minute programme, filmed in the University of Glasgow's iconic Cloisters, will see celebrities and public figures including HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, Sir Rod Stewart and Lady Penny Lancaster, Sir Andy Murray, Gordon Ramsay, Stephen Gerrard, Rita Ora, Sharleen Spiteri, Bear Grylls, The Vamps, Biffy Clyro and Lorraine Kelly taking time out of their schedules to celebrate the bravest, most remarkable people from every corner of Scotland.

Kirsty and Elaine will introduce an exclusive performance from pop royalty McFly, as well as a rousing collaboration by Leave a Light On singer-songwriter Tom Walker and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.

Sir Billy Connolly will also lead a unique rendition of Auld Lang Syne, accompanied by a chorus of celebrity guests including Annie Lennox, Alan Cumming, JJ Chalmers, Edith Bowman.

Kirsty Gallacher said: 'I am so honoured to be hosting the Pride of Scotland Awards alongside Elaine. Having been born and raised in Scotland, it has such a special place in my heart. It's going to be a wonderful evening to celebrate and commend those who have shown acts of great bravery and heroism. I can't wait to meet them all.'
