SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) _ Super Micro Computer Inc. (SMCI) on Tuesday reported earnings of $176.2 million in its fiscal second quarter.

The San Jose, California-based company said it had profit of $3.14 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $3.26 per share.

The server technology company posted revenue of $1.8 billion in the period.

For the current quarter ending in March, Super Micro expects its per-share earnings to range from $1.88 to $2.14.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $1.42 billion to $1.52 billion for the fiscal third quarter.

Super Micro expects full-year earnings in the range of $9 to $11.30 per share, with revenue ranging from $6.5 billion to $7.5 billion.
