Sweco Sweden has hired Sandra Runsten as the new head of sustainability for the Environment & Planning
division with responsibility for developing the division's strategic sustainability offering. Sandra
Runsten has over ten years of experience in sustainability work and most recently came from the role of Head of
Sustainability Strategy at The New Division. She has experience from the UN and has worked with sustainability
at Microsoft. She has a master's degree in economics from the Gothenburg School of Economics. Sandra will take
up her position on 22 August. Sandra will be part of Sweco's Environment & Planning division with 1,300 experts in water and environment,
traffic and community planning, measurement technology, data analysis and statistics. Among other things, she
will be responsible for the division's overall strategic sustainability offering and be part of Sweco Sweden's
Sustainability Council with the aim of increasing business within the green transition.
