Taiwan Environment Scientific Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 104.812 million compared to TWD 100.094 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 26.493 million compared to TWD 29.384 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 33.141 million compared to TWD 36.788 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.55 compared to TWD 0.91 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 284.386 million compared to TWD 164.323 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 25.111 million compared to TWD 69.432 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 35.679 million compared to TWD 75.114 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.59 compared to TWD 1.85 a year ago.
Taiwan Environment Scientific Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the provision soil and groundwater engineering services. The Company is engaged in the engineering consultants and construction businesses for environmental protection, the earthwork resource recycling treatment business, as well as the provision of environmental testing, sampling and inspection services. The Company provide its services in the fields of soil and groundwater remediation; water, wastewater and sludge treatment, air pollution control, system and outsourcing operation, as well as environmental license application and permitting.
