TCC Steel Corp. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 185,095.73 million compared to KRW 192,411.54 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 636.23 million compared to net income of KRW 5,573.85 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 25 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 240 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 25 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 240 a year ago. For the six months, sales was KRW 321.88 million compared to KRW 286 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 19,757.04 million compared to net income of KRW 10,204.77 million a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 775 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 440 a year ago. TCC Steel Corp is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of coated steel plates. The Company operates its business through two segments. The Surface Treatment Steel Sheet Business segment manufactures and sells products such as electro-tin plated steel sheets, electrolytic chromic acid treated steel sheets, electrolytic copper plated steel sheets, and electric nickel plated steel sheets. The Company's products are mainly used for beverage pipes, food pipes, aerosol pipes, general pipes, bottle caps, and electronic products. The Real Estate Lease Business segment is engaged in the rental of real estates. The Company sells its products in domestic and overseas markets.
