TCC Steel Corp. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 139,807.67 million compared to KRW 182,983.42 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 372.35 million compared to net income of KRW 2,119.09 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 14 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 90 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 14 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 90 a year ago. Basic loss per share was KRW 14 compared to basic earnings per share of KRW 90 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 511.72 million compared to KRW 419.6 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 20,129.4 million compared to net income of KRW 12,323.85 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 768 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 529 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 768 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 529 a year ago. Basic loss per share was KRW 768 compared to basic earnings per share of KRW 529 a year ago.
TCC Steel Corp is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of coated steel plates. The Company operates its business through two segments. The Surface Treatment Steel Sheet Business segment manufactures and sells products such as electro-tin plated steel sheets, electrolytic chromic acid treated steel sheets, electrolytic copper plated steel sheets, and electric nickel plated steel sheets. The Company's products are mainly used for beverage pipes, food pipes, aerosol pipes, general pipes, bottle caps, and electronic products. The Real Estate Lease Business segment is engaged in the rental of real estates. The Company sells its products in domestic and overseas markets.
